Welcome to the first blog post on our new website!  We’re going to try to put up an informative article at least once a week or so . . . all focusing on what The New Plate is all about in 2022 and beyond.
We are very excited to have you with us on this journey!

Every loaf of Gluten-Free Sourdough Bread we bake, every jar of fermented veggies that we put a lid on, every bit of writing and consulting we do about the gut-brain connection, and every service we offer in the world of meal plans, menus, and consulting services are all in support of our mission to promote overall health, brain health, and a healthy gut for you and the benefit of your children.

 And so we craft, bake, and sell a wide variety of Gluten-Free Sourdough Breads.  Our own starter (feed the beast!)  is long-fermented to capture that tangy “sour” flavor of sourdough bread.
It’s Incredibly tasty, and also beneficial to your digestive system.
Our unique gluten-free sourdough products are getting rave reviews.
And that’s great because our master baker, Fina, worked for nearly
a year to perfect the recipe!

You can exclusively buy any of our wide variety of breads, rolls, pizza crusts, hamburger buns, pies and cookies with sourdough crusts virtually every week of the year at the Waco Downtown Farmers Market in Waco, Texas.

We are also all about Healing With Food, to coin a phrase!  It was the ancient doctor Hippocrates who said “let food be your medicine.”  Using food as the healing source, we consult with and work with families to help heal chronic childhood disorders such as autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, depression, anxiety, and other neurological difficulties related to gut and immune system health.  At The New Plate, we specialize in treating the expression of autism throughout the spectrum.  Click to our Consult Contact form to get more information about our consultation program.

at time of pickup.
